Leica D-Lux 4 Low Lighting

Ozzy Sleeping

Snuck a few shots of Ozzy sleeping on the couch. Shhh. Don't tell.

  1. Hello!

I also have a Leica D-LUX 4 and am having trouble getting good shots in low light. The photos come out too dim and also sometimes too noisy as well. I haven't dabbled much with manual mode and the aperture and ISO and all that, but I was wondering what settings you tend to use, especially in an indoor, low-lit setting such as a bar.

  2. I set my camera on manual and the highest I've used for ISO is at 1600, which can get pretty noisy. I also try to use the fastest F-stop which is f/2.0 on this camera.

  3. Also, I would use flash in the bar.
